Aired: June 4 – July 24’12
Cast:Gong Yoo, Lee Min Jung, Suzy, Shin Won Ho
The series begins on a rainy day, and we’re introduced to Gil Da Ran, an aspiring teacher, on the bus who has just won a radio contest. 18-year-old Kang Kyung Joon (her student) is also on the bus and is watching her, laughing from a seat away. They switch umbrellas, and she ends up interacting with him.
After a tragic car/motorcycle accident, 18-year-old Kang Kyung Joon realizes his mind and spirit has been put into the body of 30-year-old Seo Yoon Jae, also known as Gil Da Ran’s fiancé. Yoon Jae is a successful doctor and Kyung Joon is forced to learn how to live as him while Yoon Jae (still stuck in Kyung Joon’s body) lays helplessly on a hospital bed in a coma.
If you enjoy a good romantic comedy, I recommend watching this. That is… if you don’t mind a horrible ending.

What I loved the most about this drama was how Gong Yu perfectly portrayed the character of Kang Kyung Joon. He acted immature, he was sweet, and when he cried, I found myself in tears too.
What I didn’t like was how passive (yet again) the female protagonist was in this series. Gil Da Ran has no backbone and she doesn’t fight for what she truly wants until the very end. On top of that, there was no chemistry. There wasn’t one moment where I would stop and think, they would make a cute couple in real life. They didn’t match one another. Lastly, the ending was horrible – it (like most dramas) ended as it began. The plot was cut short – you’re left hanging wondering what happened to Seo Yoon Jae (we don’t know if he’s back in his own body or still in Kang Kyung Joon’s). Not a good way to end a series.
I probably wouldn’t watch it again ever. And if I did, it would be for Gong Yu.
Anyways, my rating for this drama would be 3.5/5. If the ending was different it would have made a huge difference.
